She nodded, "I see," She said with a short laugh, "Coffee is a necessity, I understand that." She looked down at her own drink clumsily spilled by her own feet. She felt sad for a moment over her lost drink, but got over it and looked back up. Then, Alexandria did something really weird. "Would you like to come to Radio Shack with me?" She asked. She was asking a vampire to accompany her to a store. A Vampire. They were supposed to be enemies. All old lore said it, it was just the way of things. "If that's too weird, I'll let you continue on your way." She didn't have an explanation as to why she invited Elod to come to the store with her. Perhaps she was going insane, or perhaps she saw he was harmless. Maybe, she just needed someone else's opinion on a new phone. "I've just got to replace this," She mumbled, holding up the battered bit of technology.

Elod felt immensely relived to not be seen as a creepy stalker anymore. He laughed, nodding in agreement when Alexandria commented about coffee being a necessity; he could completely relate. Elod could hardly remember the last "morning" he'd been without a cup of hot coffee. It had been very long time ago, that much he was sure of. After a short pause, when Elod wondered about Alexandria's broken phone again and how it got so bashed up, she asked him if he'd like to come to an electroncis store with her. Elod was more than a little surprised by this question; why Alexandria thought he'd be useful helping her choose out a new phone he had no idea, but since he was bored anyway, and in need of a little spontaneity, Elod decided he'd go along with her to Radioshack. "Yeah, ok." replied Elod, smiling kindly.

Alexandria grinned, "Okay. Thanks." She said softly, wrapping her coat tighter around her. Suddenly she was glad her cold drink was no longer in her hands. She shoved them in her pockets their coldness disappearing into the warmth in her pockets. "I hope they are still open." She said brightly. She liked the thought of not being alone anymore. She never had company anymore, not even for the short period of time it took to go to Radioshack and get a new phone. She brushed the red fringe of her hair from her eyes and started to walk down the street. The five minute walk to the store was pretty quiet. "It's open" She said when they reached their destination. It was only nine-ish and they didn't close until ten-thirty. Alex walked in and immediatly felt warmer. It felt so nice inside the store. She walked over to the phones and began looking them over.

It was a very short walk to the closest Radioshack; Elod followed Alexandria toward the store, watching the few stray pedestrians that were still out at this time of the evening hustle back to their cosy warm homes through the chilly weather. Elod too had his hands in his trench coat pockets; even vampires could feel the cold after all. Upon reaching the store, Elod followed Alexandria inside and into the nicely heated environment. He could finally pull his hands out of his coat pockets to let them warm up a little. Elod gazed with interest at all the shiny and sleek looking electronics lining the wall and display tables. He hadn't been in very many electronics stores, nor did he own a cell phone. As Alexandria started browsing the selection of mobile devices, Elod wandered over to look at them with her. It was doubtful to Elod that he would be of much help choosing anything, but he had to admit it was nice having some company for once.

She wasn't sure if he was really interested in electronics but she pointed at the seven phones she had to choose from. "I have to choose one of these, they are all under my carrier. She picked up the blackberry and started to play with it. She liked the keyboard but that was it, she really didn't like the phone. She picked up a green phone next, it had a full keyboard and it flipped open like the Envy. "What do you think of the color of this one?" She asked, it was a really emerald looking green, she tilted her head slightly to the side. It was puppy-like in a way and reflected her canine side. "I like the phone, but am not sure over the color.

Elod watched Alex handle the different phones, first picking up a black one, which didn't seem to her liking, then examining an emerald green mobile. It flipped open like a miniature computer revealing a screen and keyboard. Alex tilted her head to the side like a curious puppy as she scrutinized the cell phone; Elod had never spent much time around werewolves, but it made sense that they would exhibit some canine traits even in their human form. "It's a nice color," Elod replied to her question eying the phone as well, "Though I suppose it'd be better to look at all the options first, in case there's a better one."

Alexandria looked up at him for a moment and nodded, "How true. Although, anything would be better than what I already have." She said with a sheepish grin pulling the smashed piece of electronic from her pocket. She picked up another and slowly made her way through the whole section of phones before she selected a phone with a slide out keyboard and a touch screen. It was an electric blue color and a motorola. She liked Motorolas. Alex showed Elod the phone. "What do you think? It has a full keyboard, a touch screen and blockbreaker." She said with a smile. She liked it when phones had blockbreaker on them. Of course, she could just download the game but that was too much hassle. She just preferred it came with the phone. "I think this is the one." She said after letting him see. She went up to the counter and asked the person to get her the phone from the back. As he went through the door into the store room, she turned around to look at Elod. "Thanks for coming with him, it's weird because we don't really know eachother, but I like the company."

"True enough," Elod thought to himself, "Just about anything would be better than a broken phone. " It took a while to browse through the rows upon rows of phones before Alex seemed to settle on a lightning blue mobile. Why anyone would need so many options to choose from for anything was beyond Elod, but he supposed people must like choices, otherwise the store would lose money stocking so many different products. Elod listened to Alex explaining the features of this blue phone to him, trying to comprehend what he could. The part about something called Blockbreaker was where he got lost. Elod never noticed how long it had been since he was human until he started paying attention to how much they had advanced in the past few years even. It was difficult to comprehend that when he was human, not that many people had cell phones, and now almost everyone had one, very complicated ones too. Elod snapped back to reality as Alex thanked him for tagging along. "No problem," Elod smiled sincerely, "I like having company too."
