Vampires are beautiful but deadly creatures. When bitten their bodies become frozen in time so you will look like what ever age you were turned at.
Although usually solitary creatures, sometimes vampires find a mate. If this mate is truly their soul mate the two can become blood bonded. Becoming blood bonded is not something to take lightly. It is a ceremony more sacred then siring/becoming sired. After becoming blood bonded the two vampires are forever joined. It is like getting married but you cannot get divorced, it is not possible to unbind yourself. You can see why such a subject is not taken lightly.
Another rare thing in the vampire world are clans or covens. Sure vampires can have friends but, again, they are solitary creatures and prefer to live alone or with a carefully chosen companion.
Vampires have not powers like the ability to read minds but they do have great agility, strength, senses, and speed. Their weaknesses include that of garlic, holy water, and crosses. However, these items can only temporarily weaken the vampire. To kill a vampire you must rip apart their body and burn the pieces. The only thing not subject to these rules are sunlight. Over-exposure to sunlight can and will kill a vampire.
When it comes to drinking blood, vampires must do it regularly or they will loose control. Vampires are able to feed on either animals or humans, it does not matter as long as they get blood. Their eyes do not change color depending on what they eat or how hungry they are. You can tell if a vampire is going into bloodlust (loosing control due to lack of feeding) by their pupils and fangs. Their pupils with be extremely dilated, almost to a point where there is no iris, and their fangs will be fully extended.
Werewolves can either be friends or not with vampires. They don't smell terrible or anything like that. It all depends on the person, not the species.
