Four months have passed since Dean Winchester was sent down to Hell after selling his soul to bring his brother Samuel back from the dead. In our time, four months seems like a rather shot period, but down in the pit it feels like an eternity. An eternity of pain, of torment and torture... one that you can never escape from until you become something that is very much not like your former human self.
However, for Dean this isn't the case. It seems that when it comes to the hell bound hero, he sports a 'get out of jail free' card and he is torn from his torturous pit and set back on Earth. Castiel is Dean's 'saviour', an Angel of the Lord who claims that he ripped Dean from Hell because ' God commanded it'. The Angel of the Lord informs the eldest Winchester that God has work for him. But, it is not Dean alone that the 'man upstairs' has work for.
Since Dean went to Hell, Sam has placed his trust in the Demoness Ruby, however, there is something sinister and evil lurking behind this skank's motives for helping the youngest, torn Winchester. Though helping him advance with his powers, Ruby is using Samuel to move her way up the demon chain and use him to take out Lilith and her now 'on ground' companion, Belial. Teaching Sam his new tricks to Ruby, is like teaching a new puppy how to sit or roll over, but she hasn't been counting on little Sammy's big brother to return from the dead.
Lately, Hunters have been on a rapid decline in number, most have been killed by Lilith and Belial and the other Supernatural creatures which seem to be growing in both number and nerve. Other Hunters have attempted to save their lives and the lives of their families (if they have any) by laying low and trying to keep a low profile, making the hunter population a very tiny amount. Like Dean Winchester, the remaining hunters are the key to God's plan to stop Lilith and Belial from taking control and making the human race extinct. The Hunters are God's warriors and the Angels their guardians in an upcoming war to save mankind from demonic domination.
The question is, are the Hunters a strong enough force to tackle the demons and Lilith and Belial's spreading power, or is this an attempt that will only be in vain as it is already too little, too late? Both sides are blurred with a few demons crossing over and helping the hunters whilst a few hunters who believe their is no hope for their species are stepping over the line to help Lilith and Belial as spies against their former allies.
Where do you stand in the fight for Mankind? Will you align yourself with the Winchesters and those fighting to save Innocents and the World from Demonic domination or, will you stand with those Hell-bent on bringing the Goodside down and making Hell on Earth?
Are you a hero or just another expendable piece of the chess board?
