Usually Ophelia will be seen in gothic victorian clothing. Mostly black and white. Sometimes she will wear gothic lolita clothing, but not often. Most of the time her wardrobe is black skinny jeans, button up top with a ruffle neck piece, frock coat, lace fingerless gloves, and some type of hair piece. She sometimes wears black eyeliner, a little mascara, and red lipstick, but half the time she's completely natural.

Ophelia is an odd girl. When she's around people she's unfamiliar with she's very tense, very defensive. She yearns to be like her old self: bubbly, flirtatious, and bold. However, she is merely a shell. She is shy, and intent on avoiding everyone that might throw her a flirty look. She prefers to observe and not be noticed. Now, she's used to being invisible, and she prefers to keep it that way.
Once she gets used to you, she'll let down a few walls, she'll joke with you, and make polite conversation. However, she prefers to have more acquaintances than friends. She has yet to tell anyone everything about herself. She keeps more secrets than anyone else alive or dead. She intends on keeping it that way.

Ophelia was born as Roslyn Katrina Van Koehn in New York City in the year 1861 into a very well off family. She was the youngest of her 4 other siblings (3 sisters, 1 brother) and was often picked on for being so scrawny and tall. Praised for her artistic and musical talents, Ophelia (Roslyn) was often volunteered for parties, which was very odd for a young woman in this era.
When she was nineteen, her parents arranged a marriage for her to a young man named Demetri Gray. He was handsome, well-known, and rich, but cruel, lecherous, and fickle. Ophelia was obviously not happy with the marriage, but one evening while attending party with her pig of a husband, she met another young man by the name of Edward Norrese.
Months after that night, an affair had brewed between the two, no one new of course.
One night, after sneaking out of her townhouse, she began her journey over to her lover's home; little did she no this was the last night she would be human. When she was about a block from Edward's home, she was blindfolded from behind and dragged into a nearby alley way and knocked out. She was shaken conscious to find herself on the edge of going into the Hudson river. Moments later she was shoved off and plummeted into deep, frozen water; unfortunately for Ophelia she couldn't swim and began to drown.
As soon as she was thrown in, she was pulled out, barely alive, lungs full of water. Her attacker had pulled her up on a bank and placed her head on his lap. She tried to look up at her captor, but the darkness around her and the water in her eyes wouldn't let her identify this man. He spoke to her in a sultry voice and caressed her cold pale cheek: "Roslyn was it? Huh..you look like an 'Ophelia' to me" After that, he sunk his teeth into her neck and sucked her life force away.
No one in her family knows what happened to their beloved Roslyn, not her husband, and not her lover. She was never found by her family and assumed dead. From that day forward, she refereed to herself as Ophelia.
Other:Misses New York A LOT
She has a one year Siamese-tabby mixed cat named Bianca
Has a tattoo of a single eighth note on her right shoulder.

It was already after dark when Ophelia had pulled up to her new home. She couldn't believe her luck. Her friend from New York, Erin, had allowed her to take over residence of her former home in Dawson. The cottage was a fair size, just enough space for a girl and a cat. It wasn't too far from downtown, but just far enough to have some peace and quiet. "Well, here we are!!" Erin exclaimed as the two women excited the car. Ophelia gave her a bewildered glance as Bianca let out a questioning meow. The two tromped up the snow covered steps and Erin fished for the key to the front door on chain on her pants. Finally finding it, the door opened with a devastating cracking sound. "Yup, sounds just like it used to" Erin said with a grin on her face as they stepped in and switched on the light. It was pretty good looking for not being used for seven years, at least it was still being taken care of.
It was really cold obviously but had less dust than Ophelia might've thought. "Well, take a look around, I'll start up the heater." Ophelia nodded to Erin, set Bianca's carrier down and let her out. As the coffee colored tabby darted out, Ophelia took a good look around the room. The cottage was nicely decorated and furnished. The Living room and kitchen were connected. Same with the master bedroom and master bath and the guest bed and bath. It was decorated with funny little trinkets one might find in an antique shop, but no matter, Ophelia liked it. It reminded her of her old home in New York all those years ago.
"It's really Nice Erin, thank you so much for letting me stay here." She said in a soft voice, sitting down on her new bed where Bianca had already made it perfectly clear she was comfortable.
"No problem Ophi! And if it's okay with you, I'll be staying for the night." Erin replied sitting next to her. "And you can keep the car, you're going to need it." Ophelia just smiled at her friend and gave her another "Thank you so much". "No problem" Erin whispered as she pulled Ophelia into a hug and bid her goodnight. As She slipped under the cold covers of her new bed, a shiver rolled down her spine. There was something about this town that made Ophelia couldn't put her finger on. If there was something to find or fear in this new town, she will find out tomorrow.
Do you play any other characters here? If yes then who?
