Gailent smiled, his lips sliding on his face from his eyes to his ears, hugely. But his teeth weren't showing, he was just smiling a very cat-like grin. He could feel her words in his ears, if that were possible, and he glowed at the vibrations the sounds sent through his eardrums. Wishing this could go on forever although he knew it wouldn't, he set his guitar on the floor beside him and put his left hand on Ophelia's shoulder, turning both of them to each other. His smile had faded a bit, but it was still there, still wide with embarrassment and happiness. "We need something to pass the time a bit more, yes?" He said, kneeling next to her on one knee, ready to stand up. "A game, perhaps?" said Galient, standing finally, feeling his foot and noticing it was asleep. He almost tripped on it but caught himself quickly on the wall. He sighed and huffed a laugh.
"Alright, now pay attention. A buddy of mine taught me this. Snaps is the name of the game. The name of the game is snaps." Galient snapped fingers three times, "Listen closely," he snapped his fingers four times, "Very closely now," He snapped his fingers twice, "You understand?" He snapped his fingers four times again, "Utterly easy, am I right? Did you win?" He waited for her answer amusedly and laughed quite a few times, he hadn't caught it at first when his friend taught him. Now he did. And he loved to make other people confused at the game.

Ophelia leaned back on her arms to look up at him. Her eyebrows were raised and her head cocked to the side as she watched him. Game? What sort of game is this? Obviously someone likes to play mind games. She giggled a tad as she thought this. This made no sense to her.
Standing up on her own, smoothing her short white dress. She mimiked him, trying to figure out what the snaps meant...if they meant anything at all. "Are they sylables? Moris code?" Her random guesses weren't helping obviously. What the hell is that suppose to mean? Her face twisted into confusion and shrugged her shoulders, shaking her head. It probably was easy, but if I don't know what I'm looking for it's rather hard to win. "Mind giving up the answer?" Her voice was embarrassed, as was her smile. If it was that simple, why did it make no sense...yet.

He laughed as he put his arm around her waist and pulled her close. "It's actually very easy. The snaps," he said, snapping his fingers behind her back, "are the order of vowels. 'A' is one snap. 'E' is two, 'I' is three times and so on. If you listen to the words and use the beginning letters of each phrase in order with the snaps, it makes a sentence or a name." He said, showing his teeth then. He bit his lip, "Let's try again." he said, standing back away from her. He snapped three times, "Listen closely," He snapped his fingers four times, "Very closely now," He got closer to her, as if listening to his own words and he held his hands up between them and snapped twice, "You understand?" He snapped four times, "Utterly..." He got so close to Ophelia that their lips were touching, "easy, am I right?" He whispered. Then he kissed Ophelia swiftly and backed his head away but kept his arms wrapped around her again.
"Did you get all of the words, do you understand now?" He said, smiling mischeiviously and raising an eyebrow. He never liked sharing secrets or personal things he knew with people, but somehow Ophelia had gotten him to tell her easily without a fuss. Maybe it was just how he felt about her that provoked him so much, he didn't want to refuse her of anything and he saw that about himself. He'd been that way all his life. He never wanted to dissapoint anyone, especially not the people he loved.

A blush flooded her cheeks as she rolled her eyes. "Unfortunatly, I've never been good with codes." The whisper crossed her lips after the smooth kiss. Her arms found their way around Galients neck and she just shook her head. It's true, I'm not good with codes at all. How can something be only known with vowels? I can't just assume a first letter. She began to ramble to herself again.
She shruged, oh well. In their position, it almost felt like they were slow dancing. Modern day slow dancing that is. The way Galient's smile flitted across his face made shivers roll all over Ophelia's skin. His flirtatious actions made her feel like a child. Seems the tables are turned, she thought to herself as she stood on her toes to kiss his cheek, that's all she could manage to reach when being barefoot. Ophelia returned his mischevious smile as she set herself back down on the ground, wondering what to do.

Galient wondered if she had figured it out although she had said she wasn't good with codes. Maybe not, he said to himself. He bent his head down to hers and their forheads were touching, "I said 'I love you', silly." He said, nuzzling his nose to hers and he started to feel like maybe they shouldn't get this close now, maybe it was too early. Then he looked out the window and, What time has gone by! he exclaimed to himself as he saw the sun outside the window only a few minutes left 'til it set. "This day's black fate on more days doth depend. This but begins the woe others must end." He sighed and turned his head back to Ophelia, smiling again, "One fairer than my love? The all-seeing sun. Ne'er saw her match since first the world begun." He said, again quoting Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". He laughed, a little embarrassed that he knew Shakespeare's writing by heart.
He kissed Ophelia's cheek and smiled as he backed away to look at her again. "My dear, shall we," he took a moment to actually take in the moment, so he possibly wouldn't hyperventilate, "start the coronation?" He said 'coronation' so that he wouldn't make it sound so awkward; things would be that way anyway. Either awkward or too formal. If he would've used 'changing' or 'turning' it woud've sounded a bit odd and weird to both of them. He was just being curteous, he thought. "Where...?" He said, trying to look around, making an assesment of each room although he hadn't thought about upstairs. They hadn't thought things through enough, that was sure. But Galient didn't like things to be planned, he liked things to be spontaneous. He loved this, the feeling of anticipation, it reminded him of adventure.

Ophelia gave an embarrassed smile as he pushed his forehead to her's. I should've guessed that. So obvious. No matter though. She nuzzled her nose back against his before he backed away. Her smile swayed into a grin of pure delight as he recited the lines from "Romeo and Juliet". Now that's appropriate, she thought to herself.
When he turned his head, she too looked to the windows to find the sun setting. It's time, where did the day go? Her mind was snapped back as she heard him say "coranation". Looking back at him slowly, she noded minisculy. To be honest, she was scared out of her wits. "Some place dark." She answered his question in a sort of meloncholy voice.
"We'll need a few thing first though. A few blood packs, towels, and a knife." Ophelia listed items that would be necesarry for the change. "I think we better do this in the guest bedroom, that's the darkest place I can think of right now." Realization flooded over Ophelia. She was about to kill the person she loved. Kill and bring back as a creature of the night. A monster. She wond her arms around his shoulders and held him for a moment. I, she began in her head. I might just...actually kill him. If I can't control myself, I might kill him.
Taking a deep breath and letting it out in a shuttery manner, she slipped out of Galient's arms and over into the kitchen. Opening the fridge, she took out five or six blood packs. After shutting the door, she went over to a drawer and took out a very small, yet very sharp knife. "Galient, could you get a few towels from the bathroom? It's the door next to the stairwell." Her voice was shakey and she wasn't sure about what she was about to do. If this is what you want my love. Her thoughts took over her again as she looked over at Galient. If this is what you want, I'll give it to you.

He gripped her as she wound her arms around his shoulders. When she backed away he noticed that her breathing was shaky and shuttered. He was worried that maybe she wasn't ready to do what he wanted. But, deep down, he knew she wanted it too. She must, unless she was lying and that seemed very unlikely because she would've killed him by now. He nodded 'yes' when she asked if he would get a few towels. He walked to the bottom of the stairs and opened a door where he found a couple of hand towels. One a mint-green looking color, one a light blue, one red, two were a sunset purple and the other was a dark forest green. "This should be enough," he whispered to himself as he looked back at Ophelia. He gave her a reassuring smile and nodded. And as if talking to her telepathically, he thought, I'm sure this is what I want, love. I want to be with you.
He looked up the stairs and took a deep breath. This is it, he thought. He took a step up and another and another until he was at the top step. He didn't make sure if Ophelia was following, he could hear her footsteps behind him on the staircase. He walked slowly to the guest room, taking deep breaths as he glanced at her room and also all the other doors he saw. He stepped into the room and removed his bag from the bed. He knew it would be a nuisance if it stayed there. He set the towels on the bed beside him and sat down. He wasn't sure how this would play out, he'd never witnessed a changing so formal. So planned, it was almost unreal. Vampires probably never practiced or planned turning someone, this was probably very odd.
He sat with his legs hanging off of the bedside, although they didn;t hang, they touched the floor and he had to scoot back a little from the edge so that he could sit straight. "How--?" He seemed to drift on his sentences when he was nervous. "How will...happen? I know that it may be painful, and I've been enduring that for a long time, and I've studied this--how it's supposed to be, whether it is planned or not--and I still have no clue how it's going to feel. Any suggestions on how to prevent some of the pain? Sorry, I'm rambling..." He dirfted again. Perhaps it was the opposite. Or maybe it was both for Galient, maybe he rambled and drifted in his sentences. Anything besides normal, that was.

Ophelia turned to follow Galient up the stairs. Her steps were slow, trailing only a few feet behind him. A feeling of dread cast over her. She did want Galient, she did. However, she didn't know if she was ready to take his life. The best way for me to do this is to take it slow. The hallway seemed endless, and as she neared the guest room, her stomach took a sickening twist.
A sigh crossed her lips as she stood on the thershold of the room. This is it, she thought. This is it for your life. After tonight, it will never be the same, my love. Ophelia swallowed nervously as she crossed the room to put the bloodpacks and knife on the night stand. After doing so, she sat down next to Galient. She noticed she was shaking slightly, she didn't want to give off the impression that she was scared. Taking in a deep breath, she settled herself and rested her head on his shoulder.
"W-well.." Ophelia began. "I have to bite down on your jugular," she said, reaching up to touch the main vain in his neck. "Right here." She felt uneasy talking about it, nearly sick. Yet, a strange feeling came over her. A sense of lingering excitement? Adventure? Ophelia couldn't be sure; she continued. "I'm going to release a venom into your bloodstream after I've drained about half of your blood." Dropping her hand from his neck to his hand, she held it tightly. "Yes, it's going to hurt..." she whispered, "a lot."

"Yes..." He whispered, turning to her, "But--but I don't care." He wrapped his arms around in a sweet embrace. "I want you, and if you're scared, I'm right here. I'll never leave you," He whispered into her ear. He kissed her hair and backed away, unfolding his arms around her. He sat still and turnedforward again. "Do your worst," He said sarcastically. He smiled swiftly, as if it were trying to fade automatically. He was worried, yes, but not about himself, about Ophelia and how she was going to deal with this. It was all her, he couldn't help once he was...dead, in a sense.
"I love you," He whispered. He didn't want to make her feel like she was being forced to do anything. He just wanted both of them, especially Ophelia, to be happy. Together. He waited, in silence, for Ophelia to ready herself and to bite down on his neck. A sort of sadness halfway filled him. The other half was either anticipation or a feeling of 'I haven't done enough to leave my normality yet'. He was sure of himself, yeah, but he still felt that aching, that anticipation to see and feel the sun one last time. It was too late now, he was already sitting here. He could feel Ophelia's breath, and he sighed. As long as I'm with you, Ophelia, he thought, I don't need a sun.

A sort of happy sigh past her lips as Galient embraced her. Ophelia felt herself tremble again as she too wrapped her arms around him. She wished this could last forever, but it was too breif. Soon, this will be forever, she thought as she slid out of Galient's arms. A smile worked its way on to her face as she heard his last remark.
Letting out another shuttery breath, Ophelia scooted onto Galient's lap. She figured it would be easier if they were closer together. Placing a small hand on his cheek she whispered back to him "I love you too." With one last loving, fleeting kiss she pressed her cheek against his neck, listening to and feeling his pulse. Her senses were sharp, but her body felt numb. Ophelia could smell it, his life force churning in his vains.
Like every vampire does when they are so close to a victem, her pupils widened till there was no icy blue left to see. For a moment, she didn't know who she was. Regaining control she gently kissed up and down the jugular, as if she was tenderizing his flesh. Opening her mouth, her fangs elongated themselves. Before biting, a subtle whisper crossed her lips. Not in Ophelia's sweet voice, but in a dark, sudective tone. "Forever...is a very long time."
Positioning herself on his neck, she bite down right on to his vain. Blood poured into her mouth and her arms held tightly to Galient's body. An extacy like feeling flowed over Ophelia. A bittersweet taste on her tongue delighted her. This is the part of her she hated the most. The feeling of being a monster. A bloodsucking demon. Despite what she felt, she was in control. I'm sorry my love, I know it hurts. I'm sorry.
