She smiled at his reply. Ophelia was pretty tired herself. Wow...changing takes a lot out of you. The thought of laying with him was warm to her. Comforting. Sitting next to him she rested her head on his shoulder and laced her small hand with his. You really must be exhausted dear, she thought as he fell back on the bed.
"Don't worry, you'll be alright, you just need rest," she whispered reasuringly as she carressed his cheek. "I'm pretty tired too...siring takes a lot out of you." Saying that, Ophelia curled herself up between Galient and the wall. She didn't mind not kissing him, being close to him was close enough for her. It was a comfortable spot for her, she felt rather safe and secure.

Galient nodded in agreement with Ophelia, this was tiring. His eyelids tried to force themselves down into a deep, dark sleep but Galient kept trying to refuse. Of course, he thought, if I get some rest, I'll be more energized in the morning. This was an easy answer to conjure up, he decided to sleep. His heavy eyelids drifted closed as he spoke, "Ophelia?" He said, not waiting for a reply he went on, "I think you're right, I need rest, and I am exhausted. I think I'll sleep." He opened his eyes for just a moment and kissed Ophelia's cheek. He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him and trying to keep her and himself warm. It was cold to him tonight.
"And," He said, opening his eyes again to look at Ophelia, "I would very much like it if you stayed in here with me." He kissed her forehead and set his head back down where his chin was on the top of her head because he was so tall compared to her. Of course, every girl he'd been with had been shorter, he thought with a laugh. He thought of things that could let him drift off to sleep, happier things that had happened in his life. But, the only other thing he could remember was his mentor, Stefan, finding him and taking him in to teach him. Oh, Galient realized, Damn, I will never see Stefan again. Not like this, he would kill him right on the spot, not caring if Galient was his apprentice or not. It looked like, to Galient, he would have to lose someone to gain another. He breathed deeply thruogh his nose and then softly, he drifted into a deep sleep.

A small blush manifested itself on her cheeks as he pulled him closely. Once pulled in completly she whispered while looking up at him, "Of course I'll stay with you." Ophelia let out a small yawn and nuzzled herself into his body. What was left of his heart beat made a nice lullaby. When Galient finally drifted into his sleep, his heart beat stopped.
As he slept like the dead, Ophelia reached down for the blankets of the bed. You're not going to like how cold you're going to be when you wake up love, she thought to him. Pulling them up with her, she wrapped the sheets around the both of them in a sort of cacoon, but still so they could breathe. Finishing her task, Ophelia settled back down in her place in Galient's arms, snaking her arms around his torso and snuggled her cheek on to his chest. Being so close to him made her feel so small, yet very protected. Even though, she knew until Galient could control his abilities, she'd be the one protecting him. Everything will be different now love, you'll never be alone. This thought echoed in her head until she too drifted off to sleep, staying as close to Galient as possible.
