Ricky sighed in frustration and sat neatly cross-legged on the ground. Why did it always come to this, everywhere he and Rori went? Did they bring along some force of gravity that forced people to fight? It was so wrong! It just wasn't right that they could never have a normal, vampiric life style. Ricky took in a deep breath and licked his lips. "This is possible, without having a fight. Why don't we all just go? Leave the rest here to be killed, if they are found of the hunters. I mean, it's not like we all don't deserve to be killed or anything." He raised and eyebrow and glanced up at all of them. "We've all fed on a human before, at least the eldest of us have." He glared at Galient and Ayre. Amateurs. Why would Ophelia be interested in them?

Ayre glared at Ricky. "That's wrong and a cruel thing to do."Why should others die for their problems? "I'm not going to stand back and watch other innocent people die because you're to much of a coward to stand up and fight!" Ayre felt his fangs elongate in his mouth. Ricky was ticking him off severely. Ayre clenched his fists. "You can leave if you want but I'm not budging. I'd rather die than be called a coward for leaving people to fight for their own!"Ayre took a breath and started again. He felt like bashing somebodies head into a wall. That kind of anger would help anything. He swallowed it down. "I'm not giving up till there is a compromise of some sort."They could all leave but Ayre would stay.

Ricky glared at Ayre. He had already been pissing him off, and now he'd really done it. Who was he to say that these people were innocent? Ricky had seen way more than this Ayre did! Ricky had seen so much rape and thievery in his time in Dawson while he was stalking his prey near the forests. What had Ayre seen? A few people walking on grass they weren't supposed to? And then, when they had fought, Ayre seemed like he didn't care about anything but himself, and now this side of him? What the hell? And then, now, he was hitting on his younger sister! It was like he had a death wish, and was blowing it up in Ricky's face! Ricky narrowed his eyes at him. "Coward? Coward? I think you're mistaken, you ignorant, no good, failed hunter! How'd you become a vampire, anyway? Were you too weak to fight back, so you let some quicker, stronger man defeat you and pin you to the ground, then feast on you while you wriggled furiously, trying to get away uselessly?! Were you overcome by some random vengeance-ridden vampire and he turned you into a vampire because you were too old and tired to fight back?!" Ricky threw his fists in the air as he spoke and absent-mindedly walked closer to Ayre. He was only a few feet away from him when he stopped his rant.

Ophelia's jaw dropped in disgust. I can't believe this. Here was this second rate...no third rate vampire yell at a superb person. In all honesty, Ricky annoyed her before, but now. Now she was just infuriated with him. I cannot stay silent much longer, I feel like a volcano. She could feel it, she was going to...
At that moment she stepped between the two and slapped Ricky as hard as she could possibly manage. "How dare you." At this point she was seething. "How dare you insult someone who merely wants to save your unlife, you worthless third rate fledgling. He was not held down and he was not a feast. Galient saved Ayre from dying as a last resort. Don't you dare insult someone who simply wants to help you and telling the truth about you. Ricky, you are a coward. A rude, selfish, sniveling little coward. And you wonder why I don't like you."

If it was possible you probably would have seen smoke pour from his nose like an angry bull. He was able to hold back till Ophelia finished her rant. At first Ricky's words had stunned him but now he was just plain furious. He stepped beside Ophelia unconsciously. Ayre's upper lip curled over his teeth in a snarl. He stood staring at Ricky for a moment then struck. He rn forward. His hand shot forward and grabbed Ricky by the neck. He then lifted him upwards and slammed him into the ground with enough force the crack or leave a fair sized dent in the ground. Ayre then put his face by Ricky's and spoke. His voice was low and dangerous. "These people are good people. They have made mistakes some worse than others. They don't all deserve to die though."He practically hissed. "As for being a vampire--"He faltered for a second. "--I didn't choose this for myself. Do you think I wanted this?! I been a vampire hunter since I was eight. This wasn't what I planned." Ayre let go of Ricky's throat and stood up. He looked down at Ricky. "I figured that I could live with this and for a moment there I thought that hunting vampires needed to stop. But when I see that vampires like you exist I can see now why we are killed."He glared coldly for a moment then turned around and walked away. He couldn't be around them right now.

As the scene unfolded before Rori she was to shocked to even move or speak. She tried speaking but in the end it made her look like a gaping fish. She ddin't know whether to defend Ayre or her brother. She was torn between two people. The female vampire couldn't help but cringe as she watched her brother being smashed into the ground like that. If Ricky would have kept his mouth shut none of this fighting and arguments would have happened although he did have a point when it came to saving everybody. It seemed as if that would be a bit complicated. He bit her lower lip lightly in thought and watched Ayre walk away. Would anybody follow after him. It seemed as if he wanted to be alone. Rori didn't want to be the one who would break the silence. So she waited.

Galient followed Ophelia in front of Ricky and as he saw Ricky's face twist he wrapped his arm around Ophelia and pulled her into him. He bared his teeth at Ricky and stood in between Ophelia and him. He could feel the growl coming up in his throat and had to clench his fists so he wouldn't rip Ricky's eyes out. If this was the kind of vampire that everyone else was, then they would just fight by themselves. It would be better to die a martyr than to live on with this kind of man. Galient put his foot on top of Ricky's stomach and spoke loud and clearly. "If you don't change for the better, I'll deal with you rather than wait for the hunters to." His teeth stayed bared and he turned to Rori. "Keep him in line. You must know how he is."

His anger had finally receded. It had felt good to get most of his anger out especially on Ricky. He just had to get away from everybody. Before Ayre thought he was going to expload if he didn't get out. Now he was okay. Should he go back? Of course but not right now. Let them work everything out right now. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. The wind blew gently and rippled across his clothes. At least it wasn't raining. Ayre took in a big breath of the air and froze. He slowly expelled it then glanced around. What were those scents. One he reconized at Elod. The fellow from before then two others were ones he didn't reconize. They seemed familiar but he wasn't sure. Maybe he should go warn the others or should he just go check it out. Galient would strangle him later if he went alone. Ayre stopped walking and scuffed his boot on the dirt, thinking.
The air rushed past him as he ran. Normally, he would have ran towards the scents but he had more time to thinkt hat time. What if they were hunters. Especially ones he knew. That could be bad. He skidded to a halt when he saw everybody. "There are two unknown scents. Two are vampire and another is human. I didn'tr check it out because I wasn't sure,"Ayre said quickly. He couldn't seem to get the information out fast enough.

Ricky's anger had finally gone down. Galient was right. If Ricky would want tolive through this, he would have to work as a group with these people. He licked his lips and stood up, pushing Galient's foot off of him. He wiped himself off and looked at Ayre as he ran back and practically mumbled his news. Ricky glanced at Rori, then to Galient. He wouldn't look at Ophelia. She seemed so angry with him. He wouldn't try to make it up to her. If she was mad, he would let her be angry. he wouldn't try to prove anything to her that wasn't worth anything. He would just try to be nice and not start anything. Hopefully she would forgive before they both died. He looked back at Ayre. "Maybe they're just hunting. Was there blood?" If there was, he knew it would've been hard for Ayre to resist, for any of them to resist, but he knew he probably could do it to get the message to them. Ricky glanced at the ground, then stepped toward Ayre. "I'm sorry..." He said, stll staring at the ground. He knew Ayre would've heard though.

Ayre turned to Ricky and shook his head. "No. I just heard talking. I still think it should be checked out though. The scents seemed so familiar although I wasn't sure," Thankfully there wasn't any blod. Ayre decided that if they took off to the area he would have to feed first. He could feel the dull ache in his throat starting to show itself. He didn't want to have that bugging him the entire time when there were larger things at stake. Ayre glanced behind him then back at Ricky. When the male vampire before him muttered his apology Ayre nodded. "I'm sorry too. Let's put that all behind us though and focus on what's ahead."Lives were at stake and a lot of them. They couldn't afford to waste time.
