Stefan looked at Galient in surprise. "Under normal circumstances I would hold nothing back as I have taught you but this isn't normal right now."Stefan sighed. Could he really go back on everything right now? He would tell a lie for now. "Unless I am attacked I will leave you all alone for now. I shall tell the council that there is nothing to report. For now that is. I can't guarantee your peace for long. Who knows if they will believe me."Stefan took his hand gront the weapon that it rested on and let it hang limp at his side. Stefan looked at Ophelia and shook his head. "Keep them all out of trouble, miss. I know I can count on you to do that right?"He asked with a small smile.

Galient's jaw dropped. He wasn't attacking? Out of all people, he was wimping out because his two students, one being the bestm had been chaged under odd circumstances? Stefan was more emotional than Galient had thought. He was more compassionate. Galient had always thought of Stefan as a hard shell with a soft inner side. You just had to pound through the shell. Galient swallowed and shook his head timidly, pressing to speak. "What?" Galient spoke. He breathed in a huff. "What? This makes no sense!" He repeated. "You taught Ayre and I to go for it and it doesn't matter if you know them or not, because in the end, all of them are evil! Were you lying or were you just playing with us? You're not supposed to be forgiving! You're supposed to be Stefan, the hard-to-get-to-know guy, but can be persuaded into something if you try for--for--for however long it takes to persuade a guy like you! What happened to you while we were gone?" Galient wasn't really that furious, but he needed a straight answer. He was acting oddly. He was usually hardcore. Now he was Mr. Cuddles. Well not really, but somewhere in between. More towards hardcore. Galient licked his lips and glanced at Ophelia. He smiled at her. Of course Stefan would think she could take care of us. She was so strong. Much stronger than Galient had thought. For her to stand up to Stefan and tell him what to do...It was something Galient hardly dared to do. He glanced at Ayre and Joaquin. They were having a moment. He would leave them. Then Galient looked at Elod. Alone and totally out of the conversation. Galient smiled half-heartedly and mouthed 'Go, Elod.' He shook his head. Elod didn't need to make sure we were all right with him leaving. He could just leave. But if he needed reassurance, Galient would give it to him.

Ayre's eyes widened as his father grasped him in a bear-hug. He didn't pull away or just stand there. He returned it. "I'm sorry too." Ayre muttered softly. Luckily he had run off all his steam on his rant. Maybe this is what he had truely wanted the whole time. Ayre didn't know. He didn't want to know. After a while Ayre finally pulled back and looked his father in the eyes. He breathed a sigh and looked over to Galient who was going off on Stefan for not being a hard-core hunter that they knew he was. He stepped back. "Galient....do you really want to die today because if you do just keep talking about how hard-core he is. Otherwise I'd keep quiet and just let him be."Ayre said. He then turned to Stefan. "I automatically know that if you fought Galient and I, we would be not very much of a challenge compared to Ophelia. She is the best fighter here. As for Elod I'm not sure." He shrugged.

Elod knew he really didn't need to ask to leave, but since the situation was pretty unstable right now he had wanted to make sure he wouldn't be attacked if he left. Maybe he'd run into this lot again later, they sure were interesting but he had more pressing matters to deal with right now. Elod turned, his olive trench coat swirling behind him, and left the forest quietly to go hunt down some criminal or rather to snack on, the streets should have quite a few of them at this time of night. Most sane people would probably be in their homes, away from vampires right now. He headed towards the nearest bar and went inside, trying to disguise his currently rather visible fangs. He had a lot to ponder, that made him happy, he liked having things to think about.

Galient gave Ayre a dirty look, then narrowed his eyes. Now Ayre was telling him what to do. As if he hadn't had enough of that as a kid. Galient rolled his eyes, trying to calm the anger that rumbled inside of him. It was no use, though. For some reason, his emotions seemed very prominent these days. His jaw clenched and his fists did the same. "Well, you're not me, Ayre. So I would just leave me be." Galient cocked his head to the side and gave him a little snobby smile. "You always pushed me around as a kid, and I thought I was getting away from it when I ran away. But, now, you're here again. I was pleased at first. To have my best friend here." Galient chuckled disbelievingly. "And now here you are again. Being my chaperone when I have no need for one. I'm fine just the way I am, Ayre. Thanks for your input." Galient licked his lips, and noticed his fangs were elongated. Galient watched Elod run out into the wilderness and he then glanced at Stefan. What would he think if he attacked Ayre? Galient had to control himself somehow.

Ayre was taken aback by Galient's words. Never had he heard Galient speak to him that way. Had Galient ever even been mad at him until now? It surprised Ayre. What had gotten into him? His friends reply saddened him a bit. Had he really pushed Galient around that much? Had his friend really ran away to get away from him? Then the sadness lightened up a bit and was replaced by anger. Stefan and him were the only people who had shown Galient compassion when he was taken under Stefan's wing. Ayre, himself, had mentored Galient for gods' sake! Ayre clenched his fists and kept them tight at his sides. "If you're sick and tired of my input so much why did you save me? If I created so much trouble for you why didn't you just let me die?!" He shot back, his gaze cold and hard. He couldn't believe this?!

Ophelia looked back and forth between Galient and Ayre, listeing to them argue. She rolled her eyes and let out an annoyed sigh, tilting her head down and closing her eyes. "Ya know you two..." she spoke up, whilst lifting her head and pushing her blond hair out of her face. "If you haven't noticed, this isn't exactly a great time to argue."
I can't believe this, you choose now to talk about this? Your father and your mentor just found you, you're vampires, they're hunters and you choose to argue about your issues now? Ophelia kept her thoughts to herself, before speaking again, now to Stefan and Joaquin. "So, what exactly do you plan to do?" Her voice was seeped in suspision and caution. She really hoped that she wouldn't have to fight these two. Ophelia also hoped that Stefan would keep his word, but she couldn't be sure.

Joaquin stood as he watched the two boys fight. Weren't they supposed to be friends? Best friends, as it was? And now they were fighting. Was that normal? He wondered if they fought all of the time. Prpbably not, by the way Ayre's face had looked before he'd gotten mad and by the way Stefan looked now. Almost to the point of flabbergasted. That was Joaquin's emotion, only a tad bit more subtle. Joaquin opened his mouth to speak, then decided on not to, because he had no right to butt in on a fight that had nothing to do with him. Stefan and Ophelia were the only ones at this time who could actually do something to help it. If Joaquin did anything, he knew it would just make the volcano erupt even more. So instead of speaking, he mumbled, trying to get his words across, but not screaming them. "If the two of you would wait and do this later, we could get things sorted out. It seems we're all a bit confused. Why don't you just fight it out at your own place?"

Stefan was slightly surprised himself. He had seent he boys fight all the time. In fact they bickered like old ladies most of the time. Never had Galient acted so harsh though. Not when he had been there at least. Of course due to the situation things tended to be a bit tense. Stefan crossed his arms and looked at the two younger boys. "Joaquin has a point. You two can solve your problems later. Right now there is a bigger issue at hand. A much bigger issues. Now I understand that I am on the completely opposite end of this entire thing but still we all need to work this thing out." He said. Stefan then looked at Ophelia. "My plans for now are to return to the council and tell them nothing is wrong for now. If I actually told them the truth they would send out every available hunter and that would be way to rash at this moment."He paused and his gaze darkened for a moment. "There is no doubt in my mind that a fight will happen. When and how it will happen is still unknown to me." He told the female vampire.

Galient didn't know what had come over him. It was like something inside of him had switched. Like a trigger. And it just kept getting flicked. And flicked. And everyone just kept flicking it! Galient screamed a low growl and crouched onto the ground. Suddenly, he was so thirsty. It was like he couldn't think of anything but that stupid flicking, his thirst and how to stop it all. His legs gave and he fell onto the ground, but he held up his hand retort, trying to make people understand he was fine, just irritated at the flicking inside of his mind. He licked his lips and bit his lip, making it bleed inside of his mouth. He breathed in deeply and stood up, the flicking settling a little. He glanced behind him, opening his eyes, and he could feel them. They were so bloodshot and his irises were red, instead of their normal brown with orange. He stared at the ground with a calm facial expression and spoke in a low voice, trying to keep serene. "I'm going back..." He said, almost breaking his serenity. "You can all decide what to do without me..." He hadn't meant it in a mean way, but he was saying they could do well without him there. They didn't need him. They had Ophelia. He took in a deep breath and turned, heading back into the forest. He stopped for a moment and glanced over his shoulder, still looking down but his face turned toward all of them. "Don't follow me..." He turned forward again and headed back into the woods, toward Ophelia's cabin.
