Ayre watched in shock as galient seemed to be having some sort of mental breakdown. his anger disappaited and was replaced by confusion and sorrow for his friend. What was wrong with him? It seemed like something was happening to him from the inside. Ayre was also fearful of the sudden change that had crossed Galient's eyes. They had turned red. Was this kind of thing normal for Galient? Ayre looked over to Ophelia with a confused expression. He would need to talk to her later when everybody had left or gone to do something else. Ayre suddenly couldn't take it. He had to know what was up. Hell, he would probably make things worse but this was his best friend. I'll be back, Ayre mouthed to Ophelia before taking off in Galient's direction. He had to know what was up. He wanted to help no matter what it was. Ayre followed Galient's scent and skidded to a halt when he saw his friend. "Galient!"Ayre called out. He cautiously stepped forward. Although his brain screamed for him to go back his heart told him otherwise. Ayre decided to follow his heart.

Before Ayre could run, Ophelia grabbed his wrist. "It's fine. Don't worry about Galient. He hasn't fed today. We just got a new shipment of blood packs. He'll be alright." Her tone was soft and face relaxed as she looked up at Ayre. "That happens for a while when a vampire doesn't feed very often. The animal starts to take control of the body. As long as Galient doesn't lose his head, he'll be fine."
Turning back to Joaquin and Stefan, her tone and expression changed into a confused seriousness. "However, what I don't understand about you two is why you're letting us go. Is it because you care for these boys and know they'll be safe, or some other reason?" Honestly, Ophelia didn't know what to make of this. It was strange. Galient had told her that Stefan would've killed a vampire the instant he saw one, yet he refused to do so at this point.

Galient just kept walking until he finally broke out into a run toward the cabin. It was killing him. Just the fact that he was a vampire when he'd had people who had cared about him, waiting and searching for him. And the emotions that flooded his every inch just took over. Anger, because they hadn't found him sooner and also because he'd hadn't really given anyone a chance to find him. Sadness, because he was now a vampire, forever, and even if he had Ophelia, it would never be the same. And there was jealousy, because of Ophelia and Ayre. Not of them, as a pair, but because they were both completely fine and nothing was wrong with them. He was the only one dealing with this and he was utterly alone. He finally stopped when he became so famished that he ran into the house. He didn't know if he had passed Ricky and Rori or not, but if he did he hadn't noticed them. He leaned against the house and was about to go in to get some blood packs when a sweet and luscious smell caught his attention. He tried not to breathe, but he couldn't stop. Then there was nothing else on his mind, just the scent. He gulped down the smell and turned toward it. It was moving, running quickly for a human, and he saw it. A woman, thin and hispanic, sprinting on a forest trail one hundred yards away. He drank in her scent and smiled widely as he quickly ran beside her. He stopped her by standing in front of her and smiling. She gasped when she saw his eyes but laughed a little, probably thinking they were contacts. "You scared me." She said, then Galient choked off her words and he ripped his hand through her throat. He had practically slit her throat with his fingernails and he caught her before she fell. He opened his mouth widely and knelt his head down to her neck, beginning to drink.

Ayre looked over to ophelia and sighed. "This isn't normal. Not even for a vampire. Can't you feel it? It feels so wrong..." He told her. Ayre removed his his wrist from her grasp but didn't move otherwise. He looked over in the direction that Galient ran off in. He shfited his postiion slightly then nfroze. His fasngs pushed themselves from his gums and his throat began burning like crazy. He could smell it. the same scent that had driven him off the edge not to long ago. The scent that had led him to maul a human being. Blood. Ayre swallowed dryly and looked at Ophelia with wide eyes. His entire body was tense and has hands clenched it his sides. "Ophelia....that scent..." He bit down hard on her lower lip and fought the urge that overcame him. Had Galient done something to a human to draw blood or was it something else? The scent was almost overpowering. I knew I should have eaten before coming here, Ayre thought to himself. This situation was bad. He couldn't spazz out in front of Stefan and give the man a reason to kill him. Ayre knew that Stefan was experienced enough to know that by the reaction from him that there was spilled blood close by. If Galient was the cause of it then Stefan would have to kill Galient and Ophelia wouldn't let that happen. Peopel would die and there was be nothing to stop it. What about his father though? How would Joaquin react? He had more control then Ayre, himself, did. Ophelia too. Ayre was only a beginner to this. he needed to get back to the house and now before it drove him over the edge.

Ophelia couldn't deny what she was smelling...or hearing. She could feel it in fact. Goosebumps spread on her pale skin, making the hair on her arms stand on end. She could feel the prickly feeling as her fangs started to pierce her gums. Oh god...no. This is really bad timing. The panicking thoughts began to swirl around her mind but she had to stay calm, she was bigger than her hunger. She was bigger than the monster inside her. "Ayre, we have to leave now. We have to get Galient before he does something...." Ophelia wanted to add worse on the end, but figured it wasn't a good idea.
Before running off, she turned to Joaquin and Stefan. "I'm so sorry about what's happened to these two. I assure you I never meant for this to happen. And I thank you for your kindness. Farewell." With that, Ophelia took off in the direction where the scent was coming from with break-neck speeds, motioning Ayre to follow. The smell of blood absolutely filled her nostrals and her fangs started to pierce through. STOP IT!! I AM NOT A KILLER!!! Ophelia always hated fighting with herself, it wasn't in her nature at all to hurt anyone unless absolutely necessary. She needed to find Galient, get him to the cabin, before anyone else got hurt and only prayed that Joaquin and Stefan would keep their word.

Galient practically sucked the girl dry, leaving no drop of blood in her body at all. He wiped his mouth with his sleeve and dropped the woman, letting her sag onto the ground. He pressed his eyes closed, and then grinded his teeth. He opened his eyes and he could feel the burning in his throat worsen, and his eyes were still stinging. He rubbed them, and it came to no avail, so he groaned and started to run towards the house, not far from there. He ran into the front door, and grunted, sliding onto the front porch. Then he realized where he was and what was happening. He had been in a sort of...trance or something. A bloodlust. His hunger was just too strong. He had killed a person. He had just killed a person. Something he said he would never do. He looked up to the sky and watched as the light came slightly. It was a little lighter, but not by much. Only so that you could hardly see the stars anymore. He closed his eyes and tried to hold back cries of anger. "What is happening to me..." He moaned, feeling the dried blood around his mouth. His body was so weak. He didn't, couldn't, move. He sat there, almost into unconsciousness, and waited for something to come. Whether it be sleep or death, he didn't know. He just wanted to get away from where he was and what he'd done.

Ayre followed after Ophelia after one glance back at his mentor and father. He bit down hard on his lower lip and could taste the sweetness of his own blood. It was nothing like a humans but it wasn't badly. He wouldn't go sucking his own blood though. That was just desperate. Ayre stopped when he saw Galient. His friend looked so weak and helpless like something that had finally snapped and it left him feeling beaten. Ayre's throat was already burning but when he swallowed it just hurt even worse. his hand flew up to his throat and he clutched it. This wasn't the time to worry about himself though. There was blood right in the kitchen. He just had to wait. Galient was his main concern right now. What had happened? Galient was one of the last people he would expect this to happen to. Ayre looked over to Ophelia then back at Galient. Should he say something and approach him or should he just let Ophelia do everything? Galient would listen to Ophelia better than he would listen to him.

She knew it would happen eventually. Ophelia's face was sullen as she came to a stop in front of Galient. For a moment all she could do was watch him. Was that what I looked like when I killed Edward and Dorian? For her to admit that she killed her husband and lover was quite a large step for her. Ophelia never liked the thought of killing, and swore to never do it again. She swore to mantain as much of her humanity as possible.
Pursing her lips she siddled over to Galient and before he could move, she made contact with the back of his head, knocking him out. Ophelia let out a deep sigh and whispered "Sorry love, this is for yours and everyone else's good." With that, she picked up her unconcious lover and slung him over her shoulder, fire-fighter style. This looked rather silly seeing that Galient was about 6' and Ophelia only around 5'6" or 5'7". "Alright, Ayre, we need to get Galient to the Cabin. When we get there, I want you to take him and put him on the couch and slowly wake him up. Get as many blood packs as possible. Feed yourself and him. I'll take care of the body." With that, Ophelia continued to run through the rest of the woods as fast as she could go with Galient on her back, hoping Ayre wasn't too far behind.

Ayre nodded. He was glad Ophelia was here. If she hadn't been he probably would have been freaking out even worse than now. Ayre wasn't good in situations like this. Only because he had never been in one before though. Before Ayre noticed Ophelia took off. He stumbled slightly at first then gained speed. Different scents found him as he ran. Some absolutely delectible while others disgusting. He would get to feed soon. He would just have to wait a bit longer than he wanted too. By the way Ophelia looked it seemed as if Galient had never killed anybody before. It must be pretty hard on both of them, Ayre considered silently as he ran. The taste of blood from the human had been better than anything he had ever tasted but afterwards he felt lower than dirt for doing what he had done. He swerved to the left when he almost crashed into a tree. Ayre muttered a few words of annoyance before increasing his speed so he ran beside Ophelia. He slowed as they reached the cabin and swallwoed through his dry throat.

As they came upon the lawn, Ophelia leaped on to the porch and slipped Galient off her shoulder. Examining his face, she saw that his complection had paled and took on a sort of green tinge. Dammit, this isn't good, he has to feed. She didn't want to admit it to herself, but she was shaking. She was terrified that Galient would...Stop it! Her thoughts were spinning and she wasn't sure if this were real or not. She shook it off and looked over at Ayre. "Take care of Galient, I'll be right back. I have to dispose of the body." Jumping back over the railing of the porch, Ophelia zoomed back to wear the girl's dead body lay. She slowed as she came up to the corpse and frowned. "I'm sorry," she whispered, and pulled the body up over her shoulder and started to walk to the not far off cemetary. It was so quiet in the forest and the company was silent as well. This poor girl, she didn't stand a chance against Galient. It took about twenty minutes for Ophelia to reach the graveyard. There she dug a grave for the young woman and gently placed her inside. "Rest in peace, I'm sorry for what happened to you." With that, Ophelia covered the young woman and started walking back to the cabin.
