When Ophelia kissed him, sparks flew into his stomach. If only you knew too, Ophelia, he thought, I'm not used to it either. Not this kind of it anyway. He kissed her back, nervously, shaky and careful. He put his hand on her waist and the other on the back of her neck, pulling her closer to him. He pulled back for a moment, letting their lips rest on eachother, "Ophelia, you're not the only one here who is nervous. I'm also scared, don't feel rushed, or flustered because I have enough of that for the two of us." Galient looked into Ophelia's eyes and smiled, not crookedly or charmingly but genuinely and shyly. His cheeks blushed, and he looked down, flustered again.
"Uh--um, maybe we could do this in your room, or mine. Somewhere more reasonable than a kitchen counter." He said, still looking down at the floor, still blushing also. He reluctantly looked back up and tried to lure Ophelia to follow him upstairs as he took a few steps back toward the door to the kitchen.

Ophelia's cheeks were bright red as he pulled her in by waist and neck. The words he spoke were awkward and put her at ease in away. How did I manage to find someone so sweet. Yes, she thought it was sweet, cute even, how he blushed. Her arms shifted a little bit around his neck so one stroked the back of his hair, trying to calm him.
She giggled at his second remark. "I agree...not exactly cleanly either." Smiling back at him, Ophelia kissed his cheek, thanking him for being reasuring and bounced off the counter. Taking Galient's hand she led him up the stairs. Her breath was shakey, not as shakey as the night before, but still shakey. Ophelia couldn't help but wonder what was going through his head right now. How all this was going to go about. What felt like an eternity later, they reached the top of the stairs, Ophelia led him to her bedroom across the darkend hallway without a word. Making sure Bianca wasn't in the room, she pulled Galient in behind her and shut the door.

Galient looked around, it was dark but he could see it clearly. Probably one of his renewed senses. He saw the bed, the blanket curled up in one corner of it from the night before when Ophelia had slept in it. He smiled and chuckled silently. You're so adorable, Ophelia. You act so sweet and innocent, but you have those moments when you can be adventurous and compassionate. "I love you." He said bluntly, "I don't see how you would ever fall for me." He said, still smiling. He had stopped blushing though. He pulled Ophelia to him by her waist and pressed himself up against her. He gently pulled her with him to the bed, still kissing her, and sat her down beside him.
He lay her down and kissed from above her, making a shadow across her face. He pulled back for a moment and lay beside her. He had stopped because he felt himself shaking, he was so nervous. "I'm sorry. I'm just a bit..." He trailed off, not knowing if Ophelia would understand what he meant to say, or if she could even read his mind. It was possible, she probably knew him well enough to know what he was trying to say. He stared at the cieling, breathing in and out slowly, trying to make himself seem more calm.

Ophelia felt herself shudder under Galient's touch as he pulled close to him. It was quite easy to love him, or at least to Ophelia it was. This was one of the moments where Ophelia felt very small compared to Galient. When his lips pushed themselves onto her's, her heart gave a small jolt. He was colder than before, but she didn't mind, Galient was still Galient.
When pulled onto the bed, she began to shake like Galient did. When he pulled away to lay next to her, she carresed his cheek softly, smiling at him. She knew what he was going to say. There was no need to do so. "I love you too, Galient," responding to what he said a few moments "I fell for you because you..." she stopped for a moment. Her cheeks had gone red again. "Because you," Ophelia continued, "fill me up inside...perhaps even more than music ever could." For a moment, all she could do was smile at him. Her small hand slipped from her cheek to slide down his arm on to grasp his hand. "It's okay...I'm nervous too."

Galient smiled and stopped himself from shaking. Someone's gotta be fearless, he said to himself. He felt Ophelia's hand intertwined with his and a thrilling chill went down his spine. He laughed humorlously, "I know, I just..." He paused, thinking it through. He decided to not tell her what he was thinking to say. He took a breath and knew that she was probably going to ask what he was going to say, so he did the only thing he could to keep her from asking. He kissed her again, passionately so hopefully she would forget about what he was about to say, but didn't. Galient moved so that they weren't on the edge of the bed anymore and were more close to the middle of it. His hand never let go of Ophelia's and he swung one leg over Ophelia's small body, guessing that if he fell on her he would probably crush her. He moved their hands that were twined together abover her head. His other hand lay on her waist, gently groping her dress.
He took the next step courageously, he started to unbutton Ophelia's dress. He stopped kissing her for a moment and sat on his heels above her, removing his shirt. When he was done taking away his V-neck, his bare chest glistening in the moonlight, he bent down and kissed Ophelia again. "Ophelia," He spoke softly as he kissed his way down on her neck, being very carefull not to kiss a vein.

She tilted her head slightly, a very innocent, curious face manifesting itself on her skin. It was wipped away with a look of surprise as he kissed her. Ophelia still wondered about his reply, but considering the circumstances, she let it go, getting lost in his kiss. When pulled up farther on the bed, Ophelia wrapped her free arm around Galient's neck again, the other still entangled tightly with his.
When he stradled her, Ophelia's heart began to pound like a normal human girl's would in this situation. It sounded like a drummer from a thrash band got a huge solo part. She couldn't believe how fast this was going...perhaps a bit too fast, but she wasn't about to stop Galient. I wonder if you can hear it through my lips love, she thought still kissing him. Her body jolted forward slightly when he started unbuttoning her dress, but was slightly relieved when he sat up on his haunches. That is until...he removed his shirt. A shiver rolled over her skin as she stared up at him, then practically pulled him down to kiss him again, letting him kiss down her neck, closing her eyes, running her fingers through his hair. I'm scared, but I trust you Galient. I trust you.

..............3 hours later...............
Galient couldn't possibly fall asleep while lying next to Ophelia. He sat himself up on one elbow and looked over Ophelia, the blanket covering every inch of her up to her shoulders. Although on Galient the blanket was only up to his waist. Galent rested his cheek on his left hand and tried to push back the strands of hair from his face with his right hand. A cold chill ran down his spine although he was the warmest he had felt since he had woken up. He took a slow breath and layed back down, letting his arms rest at his sides. He stared up at the ceiling, getting brighter and brighter from the moonlight. He swallowed deeply, his throat burning with thirst, and closed his eyes, thinking that maybe he could fall asleep if he tried hard enough.

Ophelia suddenly rolled on to her side into her customary fetal possison. Her eyes were closed, but she couldn't sleep either. She knew something was bothering Galient, why else couldn't he sleep. What's wrong dear? She thought to him, even though, he couldn't hear him.
Her eyes flitted open to look at him and all she could do was smile. It still boggled her mind how she could end up with such a seeringly handsome man. Swallowing slightly she spoke up, "Love? Are you alright?" Ophelia rested her cheek on his shoulder and looked around the room. Everything was illuminated by moonlight if not cast in deep shadow. It was very wind outside tonight. You could hear tree limbs smacking the walls of the house from the bedroom. Her gaze returned to Galient's face, waiting for a reply.
"You know, we don't have to sleep if you don't want to dear; I can't sleep either." A lightbulb went off in Ophelia's head. "Hmmm...wait a second..." she said slipping out of bed. Bouncing over to her dresser, she opened a drawer, first pulling out a black spaghetti strap night gown and slipping it on. The second thing she pulled out of the drawer was a large, black album with "Ophelia's Modeling Portfolio" in gold letters on the front. Trotting back over to the bed, she plunked herself back in her spot and laid the book on the bed between them, smiling like the Chesire Cat.

Galient watched Ophelia move to the dresser and grab a book, a black book. He raised an eyebrow and his eyes stayed on the book as she sat next to him, except for when he looked at her incredulous smile. "What's this?" He asked obliviously, although he could read exactly what it was. Ophelia's Modeling Portfolio, it said. He huffed a breath and dragged one in,careful not to inhale any scents. He slipped his arm around Ophelia's shoulders and waited for Ophelia to open the first page. I hope there are no weird pictures in this, he said to himself oddly and comedically.
"Let's have a look see, then, shall we?" He slid his hand over hers and opened the book with her fingers interlocked in his. His eyes scanned the first photograph. It was beautiful; it had Ophelia's luscious legs shining beautifully across a black box. The picture was black and white, and Ophelia's skin took the non-color in gratefully. Ophelia wore a long, flowing black dress and red lipstick in the picture. You could tell the lipstick was red from how deeply dark it was, and Galient noticed it glistening on Ophelia's lips. He hadn't noticed it, but a quaint, simple smile had spread across his lips when he over-looked the photo.

Ophelia snuggled herself close to Galient as he slipped his arm over her shoulders. She hadn't shown her portfolio to anyone except a few designers back in New York. "This," she began, "is what I do when I'm not singing." Before opening the folder she kissed his cheek and turned to the first page. This wasn't the first picture she had taken, but it was one of her favorites. She'd been modeling since the 30's but no one realized it for some odd reason. She even had some pin-up esque pictures in the album somewhere. Looking over at Galient, she smiled at him. He was staring at the photo so intently, nearly entranced really. Clearing her throat lightly, Ophelia turned the page. The next picture was one taken more recently. Obviously, three seperate photos had been taken, but had been melded into one. Ophelia's hair was pushed back and then volumnized so it looked messy yet sophisticated. Her eyebrows had been extended by eye pencil and her make-up was very dramatic, with dark red lips. Each Ophelia had a different dress on: one was a black, pencil-like dress with net neckline and sleeves. One was a black party dress, and the last was of a suit jacket and mesh skirt.
