Galient laughed. He'd most certainly love to do the rematch. "I'd be delighted." Galient stood, makin himself seem exquisitely tall compared to Ophelia. He lend a hand toward Ophelia, making a gentleman-like gesture before he beat the pants off of her. He smiled brilliantly, making his teeth more white than ever before. He, at least, hoped he would win. If he didn't he would have to endure the rest of the nigh smoldering over himself how he'd lost to his girlfriend. It wouldn't be a big deal, Galient wasn't sexist and didn't think that if he lost he was weak. But he just felt stringer when he won, if that wasn't too selfish of him to think.
Galient took Ophelia's hand finally and pulled her up toward him and accisentily pulled too hard. She was up against his body and he could feel her warmth on him. She felt nice, against him like that. But this was no time for kissing and cuddling, it was time for a rematch. But, maybe, he thought, he could squeeze in one kiss before they raced to distract her. Yes, he agreed to himself, that would work. Galient pulled Ophelia's chin up slightly and smiled devishly. He couldn't help himself but to chuckle a little before he drooped his head down slightly and kissed her gently.

Ophelia accepted this last kiss before beating him to a pulp, she already knew the kiss was a distraction, she expected it. That chuckle wasn't suspicious at all dear. She kissed him back and tried to make it incredibly long and passionate, just adding to the suspence.
Before pulling away, Ophelia spun the two of them around and took off with the speed of a thousand toranadoes-or so it seemed. Speeding across the hall, she didn't even think about going down stairs, so what did she do? Jumped them of course. Ophelia wasn't really thinking about Galient being on her tail. It felt like she had been in mid-air for ages and ages, but Ophelia hit the wood of the living room with a sickening thud. After that graceful landing, Ophelia dove onto the couch, not really knowing where Galient was at the moment. It was funny how acustom she was to the feeling of speed, it was like everything was in slow motion. Even Bianca, who had been sitting cleaning herself in the middle of the room and had rocketed off when Ophelia hit the floor seemed to be in slow motion.

Galient watched as Ophelia spun them and she took off. Galient raced behind her, making time completely stop. Galient laughed as he sped downstairs past Ophelia, who was in mid-air, moving slowly compared to Galient. Galient ran to the kitchen and sat on the counter, awaiting for Ophelia's arrival. He sat there for a moment, wondering, I wonder how fast I am. Or how fast Ophelia is. He thought this through for a second and then heard a thump on the ground. Apparently, Ophelia had finally landed. And ran to the couch. And jumped onto it. Galient laughed meniacally. Were they in this time speed together or was it just him?
Galient walked into the living room, not knowing if Ophelia and him were both in the slowed down time together or not. He flipped his head to the side and saw Ophelia on the couch, moving normally as he was. Or so it seemed, he thought. Perhaps since he was vampire, he couldn't really tell what was fast and what was slow or normal. Galient walked, rather sprinted multiplied by 7, to the couch and sat down close to Ophelia. "Beat you." He said as he smiled that devilish smile.

Ophelia sighed and rolled her eyes. Considering that she hadn't really used her speed in quite some time, it was no suprise she lost. However, she still hated to lose to someone signifcantly younger than she was. It was a little embarrasing. In a sort of cynical manner, Ophelia crossed her legs and folded her arms.
Damn that adorable mischevious smile...she thought to herself. That just isn't fair. Ophelia wasn't about to argue or whine about losing to him, she was too proud for that. The only thing she did say was "Meet you on the roof." and without another word and her own devlish grin, took off across the room, through an open window in the kitchen. The night air was cool and sweet. The wind had disapatted from earlier and everything seemed quite calm, or at least it was before she darted out the window. Grabbing on to the gutter on the edge of the roof, Ophelia shot herself through the air and landed with the utmost grace on the bridge of the roof. The race through the house was merely a warm up.

Galient watched as Ophelia climbed out of thw window and he followed her gracefully. That beautiful girl...she's so adventurous, so wonderful, so extraordinary, he thought. And who'da thunk she would love me as much as I love her? Galient smiled as he climbed onto the roof silently and stared up at Ophelia. He jumped onto the roof from the ledge by swinging his leg over the top and he sat down on the edge. This night was peacful, besides the fact of them smelling Ricky's scent and everything. Galient laughed aloud and lay down on the roof, slanting gently down toward the ground, like most roofs do. Galient sighed and put his arms behind his head, staring up at the strange, and dark night sky. It was almost pitch black in the darkness. Perhaps there were just a lot of clouds in the sky because he could faintly see a light in the background of the clouds. Galient closed his eyes and his smile stayed on his lips, unnoticeably.

A smile slid onto Ophelia's lips as she saw Galient follower her up to the roof. Even though it'd had only been a few days, it felt like eternity had passed them by. The wind picked up again, blowing Ricky's scent and Ophelia's hair into a cloud of strains across her face. She pulled it away and pushed her mane over her shoulders again. Seeing Galient laying on the roof, she slid down beside him and rested her head on his shoulder, still smiling. It was peaceful. Ricky's scent had dissipated and sounds from the woods aided the winds in the night's soft melody. Ophelia sighed, it had been ages since she felt like this. She not only had peace, but peace of mind. For most of the past century, her mind had been plagued by guilt. Thanks to Galient, she finally had her serenity. Showing her gratitude was easy for her; Ophelia slid her hand down and laced her fingers with his, closing her eyes, that smile still on her rose-colored lips.

Galient stared up at moon, and breathed in deeply. The moon, especially a full moon, had always reminded him of his sister and her beautiful dark blue and white eyes. His father had always said his sister was their misfit child, because she didn't look a thing like his mother or father. Galient had once wondered if she was adopted. He told himself he was wrong because she acted just as mother did. Galient removed his attention from his thoughts and back to the sky as Ophelia slid her hand into his. He smiled slightly and squeezed her hand gently. He looked over to her and kissed her cheek and whispered in her ear,"I love you. Always."

Ophelia smiled, not really minding if he payed her attention or not. Looking up, she traced the constelations above them with her eyes. As Galient kissed her cheek, she returned her gaze to him. Grinning, she returned that kiss with one on his lips and sheepishly pulled away. For one reason or another, she was shy about physical affection, no matter how comfortable she was around a person.
In whisper she replied "I'll love you 'till the world ends." With that, Ophelia closed her eyes and settled her head on his shoulder again. A soft hum began rumbling from her throat and all was very peaceful. "I feel like I could sleep here," she said "but it's too early in the night for that." Looking up at Galient with a very happy expression she asked "So what mischeif should we get up to tonight?"

Galient felt a familiar crooked smile creep upon his lips as he looked up at Ophelia again. "Maybe we could go into town? I'd like to see what it's like since I haven't really gotten a chance to see it. Am I allowed to, oh so wise mistress?" He chuckled nervously as he said this "joke", because it wasn't exactly a joke. It was a pun, nd not a very funny one. But then he said to himself, oh well, I've already made a fool of myself, so I have nothing more to worry about. He sat up, feeling dizzy from looking at the stars and feeling his blood rush to his head. His cheeks were probably red, but he couldn't tell how they felt. His eyes readjusted themselves and he looked back towards Ophelia, waiting for her answer patiently.

Ophelia's eyes and cheeks lit up in glee. She didn't expect him to call her "mistress", not even when he was joking. This set butterflies weaving in and out of her stomach and sighed happily. "Sure" she said answering his question. "Want to just walk around? Get your bearings?" She kissed his cheek softly as she sat up next to him. The smile on Ophelia's lips never left as she stood up and stroked Galient's hair softly. Waiting for his reply, Ophelia looked up to the sky and relaxed completely.
