He stared at her. Not creepy, like those weirdos who love people a little bit too much, but the kind of stare that showed his love and appreciation as much as his needing and wanting for her. Galient's skin tingled and he leaned over to Ophelia and grabbed her chin softly with the tips of his fingers and pulled her face down so that she and he were facing each other. He loved to stare into her eyes. They were the prettiest eyes he had ever seen, so blue and radiant. Like the ocean after a storm. Galient smiled and sighed happily. "Yes, it'd be nice to just walk around." He said while nodding slightly. Then he kissed her lips gently and kept his forehead pressed against hers.

Ophelia's eyes widened a little bit as his fingers met her chin. He always had a way of making her feel like a child when he did romantic things. For a moment, all she wanted to do was stand there; it felt as though time had frozen around them. A sweet smile crossed her lips as they stared into each others eyes.
Ophelia nodded in responce to him and kissed back very lovingly. As she pulled away, she nuzzled Galient's nose playfully, looking up into his big brown eyes. Letting out a soft sigh, Ophelia fell back off the roof. In mid-air she flipped upside down so she landed on her feet with barely a sound and waited for Galient to follow her.

Galient looked over the side of the roof and laughed loudly, suprised at her exquisite athletic skills that he hadn't known about. "Brava!" He said humorously, then he held up all his fingers to sign that he was giving her a ten. Then, gracefully and silently, Galient jumped off of the roof backwards and and did a flip, just as Ophelia had. Only his was more sloppy than hers. He landed on his backside and cursed quietly, looking back up at Ophelia. He laughed, embarrassed. "I guess I'm not as much an olympic champ as I thought." He laughed again and stood up.
He looked straight up into the sky and sighed, he could smell rain as each drop fell down slowly onto his forehead. Just my luck, he thought. Then, just as he finished his thought, the rain came down hard and fast. Perhaps this rain was to wash away Ricky's scent? To free Galient and Ophelia of that horrid creature who thought he'd had a chance with Ophelia? Maybe, but Galient duobted that the weather had anything to do with how he and Ophelia felt. Galient shook his head to get his hair more dry than it was and he looked back at Ophelia. He smiled his crooked grin, turned away and began to walk away toward the forest. He didn't know which way was the right way to the city, but he was somewhat sure it was this way.

Ophelia giggled as she watched Galient land on his arse and said humorously, "I'll give you a ten for the landing." She held up her fingers the same way he did when he rated her own. When he looked up, so did Ophelia and sighed. It had started to rain, but she didn't mine, it just meant that she and Galient would need an umbrella.
Ophelia shook her head, letting the water droplets accumulating in her hair fly loose. She looked back down at Galient and smiled, stretching her hand to his. "Let's get ready to go then, love. It'd be dumb if we went out like this." Ophelia felt completely calm now. She couldn't smell any of the creatures that had been here previously. It was raining; normally she couldn't stand rain. However, it felt like all her fears and pains have washed away and all that was left was the happiness that had been given to her by the being she was now standing over, waiting for him to give her his hand.

Galient glanced up again and then realized that cold chills were going up and down his spine. Maybe it was best that he would get a coat and umbrella. He wasn't quite used to the cold yet. Galient took Ophelia's hand and walked back to the house to get a coat and umbrella.
When Galient went back outside he realized it was still raining, only harder. He sighed and waited for Ophelia to come outside with him. He shivered under the downpour and put his hand in his pocket. The other one was holding the umbrella. He looked outwards into the forest and saw nothing. That was odd. Usually woods were full of animals that skittered across forest beds during the rain. He shrugged it off and took a deep breath. Ophelia was sure taking some time to find a coat.

As Galient stood outside on the pourch Ophelia rushed upstairs into her room to change in to a pair of pants, boots and warm jacket. As she was about to leave her room, she stopped in the doorway. A scent entered her nose that did not belong: Ricky's. She couldn't sense him anywhere though, just his scent. Scanning the room, she noticed nothing out of place: the windows were shut and there was no sort of markings that he had been there. There was nothing but a scent. Ophelia came to when she felt Bianca near her and rub up against her leg, mewing softly. Shaking her head, she turned out the light, and closed the door behind her.
Ophelia opened the door to Galient looking out at the forest while she was pulling on a warm trench coat, umbrella in hand. "Sorry," she said. "I thought I smelled something that didn't belong." She locked the door behind her and proceeded to open the umbrella and put it over their heads. Standing on her toes and kissing Galient's cheek she said "Ready to go?"

Galient nodded slowly to Ophelia and tilted his head to the side because he was confused. He wondered if she had smelled something unnatural. Something that was fishy. Not in the sense of a fish, but rather conspicuous. Galient stepped off onto the ground and held the umbrella over his own head, because Ophelia had her own. He didn't want to worry about that now. Perhaps Ricky was long gone. There was no way to be sure, but he wasn't going to try and figure it out himself. Galient looked over at Ophelia and grinned slightly. She sure was a beautiful sight...he thought to himself.

Ophelia grinned back at Galient. Joy overflowed inside her; she had a wonderful boyfriend and it was raining. She loved the rain. Ophelia and her sisters would often hop about in puddles when it rained while her family was visiting the country side. A cheerful sigh slipped through her lips and she jumped off the pourch, gently floating down to the ground like a gothy, blonde Mary Poppins.
Landing next to Galient, Ophelia took his hand and started walking. "Where are we off to anyway?" she asked. It didn't really matter, but she was curious. Since Galient was still a new comer to the town, she could guide him easily. However, there was one thing that bothered her about rain. It makes every scent blend together and become muddy. You wouldn't know if there was a pack of snarling werewolves or a regular human behind you. Ophelia shoved that thought out of her mind and just focused on Galient, looking up at him and smiling sweetly.

Galient sighed thoughtfully as he grabbed Ophelia's hand and glided down the now-open path in the forest. Where had he been wanting to go? Town, yes, but where in town? He bit his lip nervously and felt the cold rain hit his legs as the puddles splashed when they sloshed through them. When he spoke, his voice was wavering, probably from the cold or quietness. "Maybe we could go to the pond? Or maybe the bar? I know we wouldn't really enjoy the snacks and beverages, but they always have good entertainment, I hear."
Galient grinned down at Ophelia from under the umbrellas and shivered from not only the cold. He didn't let it show, though. He glanced back into the forest, the trees wrenching themselves from their roots to be in the way of them. Their twigs and branches swooping down to scratch and catch Galient shirt and umbrella. He sneered and ignored them as he walked through the forest, splooshing through puddles of mud and brown...whatever.

Ophelia returned his grin and replied "Sure, we could even go to a small cafe I found a few weeks ago. It's always so warm and cozy. They have some of those big arm chairs and a fireplace!" A bounce found its way into Ophelia's step as she recalled the cafe. Coziness was essential to Ophelia, she always had a yearning to be warm at all times. For example, right now Ophelia wore an over coat with a polar fleece lining, a sweater, and a camisole underneath that.
Her bounce faded a little bit. Ophelia could feel that Galient wasn't comfortable right now. She stopped her trotting and squeezed his hand lightly. "Galient, are you okay?" She tilted her head up at him. "If you want, we can take a different route. We don't have to go through the forest." A shiver rolled up her spin as she started to look around. "I have to admit...I'm not comfortable in these woods when it's raining. It could be dangerous, we can't smell things very well. Let's take the road instead." Ophelia turned on the spot, regripping Galient's hand, and started to walk towards the road, hoping that nothing or no one would happen upon the two of them.
