Ricky watched as Elod scampered away into the distance. He sighed. Well, nothing was holding Ayre back froma fight now, except for his lack of strength, which Ricky knew too much that humans could bring the strength up to as much as a vampire if in the right crisis. This could be one of those times, if Ayre would be close to being killed by, oh, who knew...Ricky? He grinned and licked his lips, trying to sense some sort of smell or scent in the wind. Some sort of bloodlust...but there was nothing. Goddamn rain...he cursed internally. He turned to Ayre and sighed. "Well, old man, looks like it's just the two of us now. You gonna start throwing punches, or am I?" Ricky held his fist up, his wet hair dripping into his forehead and interfering with his vision. He was joking, obviously, bu he knew at some point or another in this night, there was going to be a fight. Nothing could stop that. It was fate, of course. Ricky grinned. It was also fate that Ricky would win. One: because he was much stronger at the moment, and two: because he just had the upper end of the stake, no pun intended.

Ayre grinned slightly. Even as a kid he ws always a person to picks fights everyone in a while. It was usually just because he would hit on girls. Then guys nearby would get pissed off because they wanted to be tough and get the girl first. He chuckled slightly. He could tell Ricky felt confident. Ayre did too though. More than usual. "I don't know who is?"He asked. Ayre could go and and try to throw a punch or something but Ricky was much faster than him. Ayre then quickly grabbed his stake from his belt and threw it at rickey. He threw it hard too. No doubt that it woun't hit Riickey probably just thud into a nearby tree or the floor. Ayre was quick to act after that he began running around to ricky's side. He took the small can or gasoline from his belt and let it splash on the ground, folling him as he ran. His other hand followed with a matchh striking it so a flame was present. He didn't throw it down quite yet though.

Ricky heard a scratch, then a ch-k sound. Oh, shit...he thought. He took in a deep breath and smiled. "Hey, old man?" he said with a grin plastered on his face. Ricky flipped backwards twice and stopped under the lamp post. "Try and get me!" He twirled around the pole and ran to the trees nearby. They would play a little game of hide-and-seek for awhile, and once Ayre got tired, Ricky would strike and that would be the end of hunteres here in Dawson for now. He chuckled evilly under his breath as he waited under the leaves of a weaping willow. No doubt the guy will find me, he thought, but he's too slow to actually catch me.

Ayre blew out the match and tucked away the gasoline. He figured that Rickey would run away. Cat-and-mouse. Who was the cat and who was the mouse? Ayre took a deep breath and ran after Rickey. He could punch better than he could run and being 26 didn't help much. Ayre looked fro side to side as he ran and finally slowed down after basically running in circles. He stopped and sighed. Damn vampires. Ayre closed his eyes and focused to the sounds around him. No breathing but his own was heard. Ayre held his breath. The wind rippled through the air making the leaves shiver and crackle. He lightly pulled the stake from its sheath. Ayre opened his eyes again and looked over. The light glinted off a small patch of pale skin. Gotcha...Ayre grinned and tossed the stake into the spot.

Ricky looked to the left of the tree and as he grinned slightly as a sharp pain rippled through his forearm. He drew in a silent breath and glanced at his arm. Blood trickled down to his wrist and around his fingers. It was like something from a sci-fi movie. He swallowed the growl that rose in his throat and galloped through the trees, finding another hiding spot. Or should he turn back and fight? There was no sense in running away from him all night. Ricky stopped and turned around toward Ayre.
"Too scared to get close to me?" He said, saying his words slowly through his teeth. The pain in his arm had quieted, but hadn't subsided. He dare not look down at it to see if it was healing yet. Ricky took a deep breath and took a few steps toward Ayre. "Ha. Was that the only stake you had? Smooth move." Ricky chuckled menacingly and grinned from ear to ear, an evil smile that made people want to just smack him in the face. Ricky could no longer feel a trickling, more like a drying-crackling sensation from the dried blood, nor any pain. He glanced quickly to his arm and there was only a pinkish scar left and the brown-red of the blood that was drying.

Ayre grinned seeing the slight red the trickled down Ricky's arm. He knew it would head soon but that was besides the point. He HAD hit him. Not a bad shot. Ayre looked at Ricky and that idiotic grin on his face. The kid thought he was a hot shot. Ayre clenched his fist slightly then grinned as well. "I have a couple more tricks up my sleeve. You shouldn't take me to lightly."He chuckled darkly. Ayre had to admit he didn't know how this fight would turn out. He wasn't as young as he used to be and being 26 in hunter years was like being ancient. Kind of like football. He had his far share of bumps and bruise especially after his father died and he left on his own to train. Ayre wondered if getting into this fight was a big mistake. He shook his head lightly shaking off the thoughts. There was no time to muse over things like this.
Ayre stepped back slightly. He silently went through all his available weapons and tried thinking of others. He had matches, gasoline, the stake...,No wait I'd have to run over there to get that,He thought to himself. He hit a blank then remembered. Ayre swiftly bent down and pulled a knife from the sheath in his boot. He had forgot about this one. A secret knife he had kept while hunting werewolves. Why? Because sometimes a stake didn't do it correctly. Ayre looked at Ricky again and charged forward. He kept the knife held tightly in his hand not attempting the brandish it till he got close enough.

Ricky's smile never faded and he mumbled, "This is more like it..." Ricky didn't move a muscle as Ayre charged toward him. He had an idea. He stayed standing still and as Ayre was a couple of inches away, he moved slightly to the side, keeping his foot in the same place, tripping Ayre. Ricky bared his teeth and tackled Ayre's humungous hunter-built body. Ricky gripped at Ayre's neck, trying to get a hold on while dangling on Ayre's back. Ricky reared back and looked down. His right hand held onto Ayre's collar and his shoulder while his left hand pulled and tugged on Ayre's hair, revealing his neck. Ricky's eyes flashed and he chuckled. "This is gonna hurt you more than it's gonna hurt me." The rain scampered on the two of them, making it look like sparkles falling off of their skin. Ricky jumped off of Ayre's back and his right hand swung back and he struck him in the neck, surprisingly not biting into his neck. His left hand still had a hold on Ayre's hair and his right was throbbing to hit him again. Ricky kicked his leg up and set it on Ayre's back, then pushed with all his might as he held onto Ayre's hair. Ricky let his leg fall and he turned Ayre around, letting loose of his hair, then swiftly kicking him in the stomach.

Ayre's eyes widened as he tripped. He didn't quite fall to the ground but had a good stumble. He shook vigorously as Ricky latched on to his back. "Get off!"He growled loudly trying to grasp Ricky and pull him from his back. This kid was like a monkey. Worse than a monkey actually. He bit down on his lower lip as Ricky yanked his curly brown hair back revealing the flesh of his neck. He was then surprised to feel the weight left off his back. The relief didn't last for long though before he was chopped on the neck. Ayre felt the breath catch in his throat making him panic for a moment when he found he couldn't breath. Ayre sucked in a sharp breath after regaining his ability to breath. He was getting his ass kicked right now and it wasn't very good. Barely a moment had passed before his body was thrust forward by a foot pressing on his back. The pain was incredible. He gasped, his eyes widening again. A few small cracks were heard. Broken bones? Or were they just popping? Ayre almost felt himself let go of his lunch when he was kicked in the stomach. Ayre swallowed hard and collapsed to his knees. Blood trickled out of the side of his mouth. How much more could he take of this. After all Ayre was only human. Ayre raised a hand and wiped the blood from the side of his mouth. He slowly stood up,glaring at Ricky. Anger and hate seethed from his body. He was pissed and wasn't about to go down without a fight.

Ricky grimaced as Ayre glared at him. "You giving up?" Ricky asked, a bit surprised. He thought this would be a bit harder. You know, like trying to teach him a lesson. But if he was giving up and calling out mercy, this hadn't been worth the adrenaline he'd given. Ricky sighed while still looking at Ayre. "Come on...This wouldn't be much fun without a fight. Fight back!" Ricky yelled and punched Ayre in the stomach. He now knew that that was Ayre's weak spot. He'd already supposedly broken a couple of ribs, so it was just easiest to hit him where it would hurt the most. Which gave Ricky an idea. Ricky spun around and his leg swung around and practically ripped Ayre away from the ground and threw him at the tree a couple of feet away.

More blood trickled from the side of Ayre's mouth. He grimaced as his broken bones shifted rubbing again each other. He wanted to fight back but it would be impossible to run without passing out from the pain. He started to move but didn't get a chance before he was socked in the stomach. "Gah!"Ayre yelled out. He felt as if somebody had driven a bowling ball into his stomach that was covered in spike. The worst part was that it dug deeper in. He sucked in a sharp breath and grasped his stomach. Ayre looked up just as Ricky threw a kick at him. He only had a split second to raise a hand and block the worst of the kick before it tossed him.
The hunter closed his eyes and felt the tree splinter around his back. He opened his eyes slowly seeing black dots. Ayre felt a warm liquid running onto his hand that held his stomach. He looked down, eyes half closed, and saw a bone protruding from the skin of his muscled stomach. He coughed harshly, spewing blood in front of him. Was this all he was made of? Ayre though he could have given a better battle than this. He had gotten to cocky and now it was catching up with him. The wounded man ground his teeth together and stood up slowly. He swayed on his feet and look up at Ricky. A splitting headache raged behind his eyes making everything sort of blurry.
Ayre reached down with a free hand and grabbed another knife. He slowly began forward toward Ricky then sped up. His breathing made small blood bubbled form on the side of his mouth but he licked them off and ran faster. Every movement felt like stabbing needles but he continued on. If he were to die he would take Ricky down with him. "Ricky!"He yelled out and lunged forward with the knife, his teeth clenched.
